So many Pali's have been educated for so long that "terrorist" bombings and killings are ok with God. This will take lots of time to unwind

There are so many armed and violent factions there, if the new PM steps on too many toes, he will probably get killed.

Poverty and corruption. Despite the Billions recived by Arafat & Co from Europe and Arab neighbors, Pali's don't have much of an economy.
Those that did work in Israel, mostly doing menial work.
When the trouble started several years ago, Israelis started hiring Indians, Filipinos etc to replace their dependence on Palist. labor.
The new guy has got to make a stand and disarm all the factions there to have a shot at making long term peace plan work.
